On
Feb. 11-15, the Arecibo Airport will be the site of the 13th edition of this
local festival devoted to skydiving that will also include an exciting air
show. This event attracts extreme athletes from the U.S. mainland, Spain, South
America, and Europe to position the island as a unique adventure destination.
During
the festival, adventurous thrillseekers will be able to jump with an instructor
(connected by a special harness) from 13,500 feet. Participants will also attend
seminars and get a chance to learn more about Puerto Rico and its facilities to
practice skydiving.

13.er Festival de Paracaidismo de
Puerto Rico
Del 11 al 15 de febrero, en el aeropuerto de Arecibo, se llevará a cabo
la décimotercera edición de este festival dedicado al paracaidismo, donde
también habrá un emocionante espectáculo aéreo. Este evento atrae deportistas
extremos de Estados Unidos, España, América del Sur y Europa con el propósito
de posicionar a la isla como un destino único de aventura.
Durante el festival los novatos aventureros podrán vivir la experiencia
de saltar junto a un instructor (conectados por un arnés especial) a 13,500
pies de altura. Los participantes también recibirán seminarios y tendrán la oportunidad para
conocer más sobre Puerto Rico y sus instalaciones para llevar a cabo el deporte
del paracaidismo.
